Lighthouse Devotional Privacy Policy

Who we are

Lighthouse Devotionals (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Lighthouse Devotional mobile application (the “App”) and related services at lighthousedevotionals.com. This privacy policy applies to the App. It is provided for App Store disclosure and may be linked directly from the App Store listing.

What the App provides

The App includes free offline Bible reading and related devotion content. Dream interpretation and related premium features require a paid subscription or in-app purchase processed through Apple. The App does not display advertising.

Information we do not collect through the App

We do not collect personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address) through the App itself. You can use the App’s core features without creating a website account.

Device identifier

To operate premium dream interpretation and related App services, we associate your App usage with a device identifier generated on your device. That device identifier is used only to provide and restore your App service entitlement (for example, subscription status and dream interpretation history in the App).

The device identifier is not linked to your personal information, except where you separately create or use a Lighthouse Devotionals website account (for example by signing up on the website). In that case, website account information may be associated with your service according to how you use the website and App together.

Dream content and interpretations

If you use dream interpretation features, the dream text you submit and the interpretation returned to you are processed so we can provide that service in the App. Dream-related information is stored only as long as necessary to serve the dream information in the App.

Purchases and subscriptions

Payments for premium features are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may provide us with limited transaction information needed to confirm and restore your purchase or subscription status.

Website accounts (optional)

If you sign up or sign in through the Lighthouse Devotionals website instead of using the App alone, we may collect account information such as your email address and related service records for that website account. That website account information is separate from App-only use based on a device identifier, unless you link or use both.

How we use information

We use the limited information described above solely to provide Bible, devotion, and dream interpretation features in the App; verify and restore premium access; maintain App reliability and security; and comply with applicable law where required. We do not sell personal information. We do not use App data for advertising.

Third-party processors

To generate dream interpretations and operate the service, dream content may be processed by our interpretation systems and infrastructure providers acting on our behalf. Apple processes purchases. These parties receive only what is needed to perform their role.

Data retention

Dream information is retained only as long as necessary to serve that information in the App. Device-service records needed for entitlement and App operation may be retained while you continue to use the App or as needed for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete or de-identify it.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Your choices

You can stop using the App at any time. You can manage or cancel App subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Because App-only use is tied to a device identifier rather than a personal profile, there is no personal account in the App to edit unless you also use a website account.

International users

We may process and store information on servers in locations that differ from where you live. By using the App, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations as needed to provide the service.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date above will be revised when changes are posted at this URL. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
